We are looking for a special person to lead Paulding Family Connections Collaborative.

What do we do?

Paulding Family Connection (PFC) is a meet and confer community collaborative that believes we can make a difference and improve conditions for all families in Paulding County.

In order to do this, we need to have strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with all segments of the community.  These segments include local government agencies, the faith community, local businesses, non-profits and all families who call Paulding County their home.

The members of PFC work to bring our community together in order to share data and vital information that helps define the local issues that are preventing families from thriving.

Connecting families to existing resources while encouraging and supporting efforts to bring additional resources to Paulding County is what Paulding Family Connection is all about.

What are we looking for?

Our current leader will be retiring this year.  We are seeking the next Coordinator to provide leadership, planning, facilitation, and coordination services for the Paulding Family Connection Collaborative and its partners.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Key Relationships within the Community to Promote PFC Collaborative

  • Serve as liaison between the Collaborative chair, the Fiscal Agent, committee and Strategy Team chairs, Collaborative members and state and regional partners
  • Work with the Collaborative partners to ensure maximum participation in Family Connection activities
  • Keep community members aware of the Paulding Family Connection Collaborative activities, meetings, and results
  • Attend and participate in monthly regional Peer-to-Peer Network meetings; Georgia Family Connection state level meetings and trainings; and all trainings required of employees of the Fiscal Agent
  • Attend and participate in Collaborative partner events, local community meetings and strive to build a strong relationship with all county agencies, the faith community, business partners and Paulding families

Lead and Coordinate Topics and Meaningful Content for Family Connection Meetings

  • Create the Collaborative meeting agenda in partnership with the Collaborative leadership
  • Coordinate and organize all meetings and Strategy Teams
  • Ensure content is meaningful to participants

Collect, Maintain, and Analyze Data Important to Collaborative

  • Collect monthly the local data statistics from key organizations serving the community
  • Maintain data including contact information received during monthly meetings to maintain the email lists, etc.
  • Analyze data and create reports to illustrate and detect trends

Serve as Primary Point of Communication for Collaborative

  • Manage all Collaborative correspondence, including e-mail, website and other social media
  • Uses various forms of communication to promote Collaborative events
  • Serve as staff to the collaborative, it’s standing and temporary committees, and it’s Strategy Teams and act as connecting point to foster collaboration
  • Maintain and update comprehensive resource directory

Responsible for Financials and Budget

  • Work with the appropriate fiscal agent personnel to manage the Georgia Family Connection Collaborative budget, complete and file any forms necessary for reimbursement to the Fiscal Agent:
  • Prepare all expenditure reports in accord with the needs of the Fiscal Agent and the Family Connection grant requirements
  • Work with the Collaborative chair and the Fiscal Agent to ensure all expenditures are appropriate and recorded properly, and that budget modifications are handled in accord with policy

Leads Efforts for Annual Planning

  • Oversee process to develop the Family Connection Collaboratives annualized operating plans:
  • Facilitate and coordinate the work of the collaborative assessment or planning committee or similar body established by the Collaborative and PFC partners
  • Facilitate and coordinate the work of the Collaborative in regularly assessing the needs and service gaps in their community, along with identifying emerging opportunities
  • Using Kids Count and/or locally collected data, develop a data profile of the county, reflecting trends and providing appropriate comparisons with the state data, that includes at a minimum population data, social and economic data, and health and well-being data for the county
  • Facilitate the annual planning meeting or retreat to:
    • Choose critical issues the collaborative will address over the next fiscal year, or to
    • Review and update the annual plan based on the results of new data and evaluations
  • Attend appropriate plan review meetings and trainings provided by GaFCP
  • Prepare the required GaFCP annual plan(s) and submit to GaFCP on time and in the required format

Collaborative Compliance and Accountability

  • Ensures that all GaFCP and Fiscal Agent Policies and Procedures are adhered to
  • Publish the official notice of all meetings; and maintain copies of all minutes, acts, policies, by-laws, and quarterly reports pertaining to the Collaborative
  • Maintain all official records of the Collaborative for the required legal period of time as required by both the Family Connection contract and the Fiscal Agent rules and regulations
  • Attend all trainings required by GaFCP and Fiscal Agent

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated passion for serving within the community.
  • Knowledge of Paulding County living or working within the community preferred.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Data management experience.
  • Marketing experience producing communications in a variety of formats.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Public speaking experience.
  • Proficiency with common software programs (such as MS Word and Excel)
  • Multiple social media platforms experience.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.  Bachelor degree preferred in related field, or similar amount of related work experience. 
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends for special events.

Must be professional with strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must work well in a team and independently.

Must be self-starter, multi-tasker, organized, with great interpersonal skills that follows and gives direction well.
