The Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter is a nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of lupus, supporting individuals and families affected by the disease, increasing awareness of lupus among health professionals and the public, and finding the causes and cure.
The Georgia Chapter energetically pursues its mission through programs of research, education and advocacy. LFAGA has a wonderful opportunity for hands-on experience with fundraising, educational programs, volunteer development and special events.
Applicants must: • Be a current undergraduate in public health, public administration, social work or a related field. • Have a high attention to detail, be able to perform tasks independently, possess exceptional oral and written communication, research, and organizational skills, be prompt and reliable and have experience with computers (e.g. database, spreadsheets, and word processing applications). • May work part time or full time, semester based or longer.
