The Annual Giving Manager, Development (“Manager”) is part of the Development team, reporting to the Vice President of Development. This position will assist in the development of annual giving programs, execute and manage annual giving programs, perks and rewards programs. The Manager will also coordinate information for grants and as well as management of grant deliverables. The Manager will support the Development team by completing various tasks such as report generation and analyses, customer service, monthly report analytics, and market and promote the Business Fund for Excellence in coordination with the NBMBAA Marketing team. The Manager will have communication with individuals and corporate donors in ensuring information, materials, and other items necessary to have a successful engagement are obtained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in development, execute and manage annual giving programs
  • Develop calendar and content for direct mail and e-appeals
  • Coordination of information for grant applications and deliverables
  • Report generation and distribution at direction of Vice President of Development
  • Coordination of information at direction of Development
  • Maintain and manage donor documentation
  • Assist in development of collateral material pertaining to annual giving
  • Market and promote Business Fund for Excellence in collaboration with Marketing team
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong attention to details and the ability to work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality or accuracy is necessary for success in this role. General qualification requirements include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in executing annual giving programs or comparable programs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in working within CRM (Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce etc.)
  • Proficiency in MSWord, Adobe and other design software
  • Creative and ability to execute on ideas
  • Positive attitude and approach towards problem resolution
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Bachelor's Degree required
