Greenspace – The Cambria Land Trust seeks an Executive Director to help pursue its mission into its fourth decade of conservation efforts.
The North Coast area of San Luis Obispo County is a scenic and ecological treasure with Cambria as its hub. The Greenspace mission is to protect the area’s ecological systems, cultural resources and marine habitats through land acquisition and management, public education and advocacy.
Conservation of its rare Monterey pine forest and improving habitat for Steelhead trout have been two particular focuses of Greenspace’s past efforts. Backing up the new executive director will be a dedicated 13-member Board of Directors; strong, consistent community support; and a track record of accomplished projects.
Greenspace is seeking a candidate who understands the ecological advantages and challenges to the environment on the Central Coast of California and an appreciation for the people of Cambria. Our goal is to find a candidate who can work effectively with the Greenspace board and the people of Cambria in carrying out the Greenspace mission.

The job is full time with an initial one-year contract. Pursuing funding for conservation and related projects will be a job priority. Energy and commitment are a must.
Salary will be negotiated. Greenspace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an equal opportunity employer.
