Children’s Restoration Network is a nonprofit organization that provides services to approximately 6,500 homeless children each year to meet their physical emotional social and academic needs. For more information on our programs and services, please visit our website at www.childrn.org.
We are looking to hire a Development Coordinator to help us manage our fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with individual and corporate donors, developing grant proposals for corporate and private foundations, and providing support on fundraising events. Additionally, the Development Coordinator will also provide program support on our seasonal campaigns.
Your duties will include but may not be limited to:
-Cultivating relationships and soliciting donations from corporations and individual donors
-Developing grant proposals for corporate and private foundations
-Potentially developing new fundraising events and activities
-Developing mailing and marketing campaigns to target new and existing supporters
-Soliciting in-kind donations and facilitating group volunteer activities
-Providing program support on seasonal campaigns, including our Back 2 School Program, Thanksgiving Food Drive, and 12 Days of Caring toy & gift drive
-Providing support with maintaining our social media and website presence
-Provide operational and administrative support as needed
At least 1 year of nonprofit experience is required for this position. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of fundraising/development experience.
Other desired skills include:
- Experience with donor cultivation and/or grantwriting is highly valued
-Event planning and/or management a plus
-Adept communication skills, both written and oral
-Strong listening skills, interpersonal skills, relationship management
-Leadership experience/qualities a plus
-Exceptional task and time management, efficient multi-tasker
-Must have initiative
-Must be a team player
-Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Salary & Benefits
$35,000 - $40,000 starting salary commensurate with experience. There will also be performance-based incentives along with the opportunity for salary increases based on performance. Medical and Dental Insurance provided after 90 days and two weeks paid vacation per year.
