Growing nonprofit agency seeks a flexible, versatile, and energetic Donation Relations Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, computer skills, and a passion for helping people who are homeless and low-income in the Atlanta area.

Job responsibilities to include:

Furniture Donations:

  • Field all furniture donation pick-up request including online form submittals and phone calls
  • Gain awareness of needed furniture items and take initiative to procure them from donor base
  • Compile daily route sheet for Warehouse Manager to maximize use of Furniture Bank trucks and truck staff
  • Work in coordination with Client Services Manager to set schedule for curbside and in-home deliveries
  • Take calls from bulk furniture donors including hotels and companies

Volunteer Management

  • Assist Community Resource Manager with volunteer cultivation
  • Lead volunteer furniture builds
  • Help educate volunteers by sharing the story of the Furniture Bank and how volunteers can become more engaged
  • Represent the Furniture Bank at volunteer/service fairs
  • Assist with volunteer data entry into salesforce

Donor Management.

  • Process and acknowledge individual monetary donations
  • Help with mailings and other development administrative tasks
