RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruits, assesses, determines eligibility and agency fit, and certifies qualified resource families for the Foster Care and Adoptions program within assigned geographic area. Independently conducts home studies, initial case management, and final walk-through for prospective families. Conducts and supports Pre-certification training for parents as part of the Placement Team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree (MA/ MS) in a Psychology, Social Science or Health Service related field required (MSW Preferred).  One (1) year of experience in a mental health or foster care and adoption setting required. Bilingual in Spanish.

*Ideal candidate would be located in Contra Costa County

Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred. Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are preferred. Knowledge of Child Care Licensing (CCL) and Title 22 Regulations preferred. Experience in adoptions preferred.
