Restoration ATL (RATL) provides spiritual programming, children’s programming, and volunteer coordination for homeless shelters in Atlanta, Georgia. RATL provides spiritual programming for women transitioning out of homelessness, After School Programming for children transitioning out of homelessness, and retreat style mission trips for 1600 over-night volunteers per year. RATL’s main campus is located in Atlanta at Solomon’s Temple (2836 Springdale Rd, Atlanta, GA 30315).

RATL is seeking a qualified and passionate After School Program Director to be the on-campus director of RATL’s After School Program for children transitioning out of homelessness. The After School Program Director will be responsible for planning and executing weekly academic and physical activity schedules as well as lead and managing front-line staff and volunteers. The After School Program Director shall take full responsibility for the program by planning, supervising, and evaluating daily programming activities providing enrichment and enjoyment to students and volunteers. RATL is looking for someone who is a self-starter, great communicator, extremely organized, and great with people. But most of all, RATL is looking for someone who is a follower of Christ, has a strong desire to work in a Christian ministry, has a passion for serving those transitioning out of homelessness.


  • Planning and executing daily academic and physical activity schedules. Supervising the children, volunteers, and all After School Program activities.
  • Maintaining the campus and the After School Program space.
  • Serving as the key staff leader for the After School Program.


  • Exemplify Christian ideals and leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong people skills and commitment to hospitality.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and problem solve.
  • Pass a criminal background and drug screening check.
  • Preferred: successful completion of higher education coursework related to education,
  • child development, and/or related field.


  • Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate, and educational enrichment curriculum and programming which expands and supports student learning experiences beyond the classroom.
  • Lead, monitor, and participate in all After School Program activities.
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise the After School Program employees and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records such as attendance records, timesheets, incident
  • reports, and all other paperwork to ensure program compliance and quality operations.
  • Provide and develop a vision and implement a plan to achieve After School Program
  • goals including a coordinated curriculum.
  • Support the spiritual, emotional, and social development of the students.
  • Assist the Campus Director in addressing the ongoing needs of the students and parents.
  • Maintain effective relationships with schools, parents, students, and volunteers.
