Uplift Family Services is hiring for Clinician, Facilitator and Clinical Behavior Analyst positions in Sacramento.

CLINICIAN: Provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community including in the homes of families.  This Clinician role is responsible for ensuring documentation and maintenance of clinical records are completed per appropriate standards and regulations and provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of youth and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of evidence based treatment. This position will work directly with children and teens aged 0-20 who are struggling at home, school or in the community. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree (MA/ MS) in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling or a closely related field. One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children is required.

Program Specific Qualifications:
Must be registered with the BBS as a MFT (Marriage and Family Therapist), MFTI (Marriage and Family Therapist Intern), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or a ASW (Associate Social Worker).

Be eligible to register with the BBS and\ obtain registration within 30 days of hire (proof of submission of registration packet must be provided),

FACILITATOR: Under limited supervision, works independently in the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings, coordinates services with an understanding of the complexity of each family while blending the clinical care of the youth with the facilitation of the life domain planning process. Provides cross-functional team facilitation to support and enhance the efforts of youth and their families/caregivers, system workers who are part of the support team, and other individuals in a variety of environments. In addition this position provides facilitation, assessment, and case management services including all related documentation for services planned and provided.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree (MS/ MA) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field. Program requires at least two (2) years related experience which includes experience serving individuals with complex needs including Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) youth/families and/or  experience with the mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems.

Availability to participate in 24-hour stand by program if needed for crisis

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree (MS/ MA) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field AND two (2) years related experience preferred. MHRS and licensure eligibility.

Highly Desirable Qualifications: Speak, read, and/or write another language fluently.  

 

CLINICAL BEHAVIOR ANALYST: Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. Works in the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings. Demonstrates advanced skills and abilities in Functional Behavior Analysis and the implementation of functionally related interventions and skill building curriculums. Facilitates teams and manages conflict to develop and implement effective behavior change plans. Works directly with children and adults.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree (MA) in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling or related field required. Non-Public Schools (NPS)- Pupils Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in Educational Psychology, Counseling, or Special Education preferred. Minimum one (1) year supervised clinical experience Healthcare/Medical - Psychology/Behavioral/Mental Health working with children.

Other Specific Requirement: Knowledge of applied behavioral analysis or equivalent skills required. Ability to effectively engage children and caregivers in the development and implementation of treatment plans required. Work and respond effectively in a fast paced, changing environment required. Excellent writing and presentation skills required. Ability to use a computer to complete documentation requirements required.

Preferred Qualifications: At least one (1) year of supervised clinical experience working with children and/or providing targeted behavior services preferred.
