For Momentum Marketing Account Executive Position Description

As a result of continuing growth and market success, For Momentum is looking for an experienced full time Marketing Account Executive to support Account Management efforts for the agency. The position will support the Agency in building strong client relationships and delivering outstanding products and services. This position requires a results-oriented and resourceful team player with exceptional project management skills and meticulous attention to detail. A high-degree of oral and written communication with both internal and external stakeholders is required. Background working in the Cause Marketing/Cause Alliance/Social Impact field on behalf of an agency, company or national nonprofit is a plus.

While the ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, the company offers flexibility for individuals to independently operate from a home office.

Primary Duties

  • Develops project timelines as well as detailed tracking and reporting of activities performed on behalf of client.
  • Works closely with database manager on prospect identification, outreach, scheduling, follow up and related activity tracking and reporting
  • Takes the lead or assists in writing, editing and proof-reading written materials such as, bios, memos, agendas, PowerPoint presentation drafts, etc.
  • Conducts primary and secondary research (primarily online) to effectively and efficiently uncover information relevant to clients’ needs
  • Ability to organize content and express ideas effectively through written and oral communication especially in PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Builds strong relationships by engaging directly with clients via calls, meetings and email and by delivering on commitments with a high-level of responsiveness and flexibility.
  • Is resourceful in getting the support needed to respond to Clients’ requests
  • Communicates effectively with clients/team verbally and through written communication, and drafts communication to meet individual needs
  • Responsible for delivering high quality material
  • Handles meeting logistics as needed

Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field and 6+ years direct work experience. Experience working as part of a non-profit’s Development team; (corporate partnership experience, a plus) and/or with a corporation’s Philanthropy/ Marketing/Communications team; or a Marketing/Communications agency (cause marketing experience, a plus)

  • High level of self-motivation and proven ability to work independently, ideally in a virtual environment, without constant supervision.

Knowledge and Experience with the Following Tools:

  • Office Productivity (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
  • CRM experience (Salesforce experience a plus) including list management utilizing tools comparable to Salesforce.com
  • Collaboration/Conferencing/Videoconference Platforms (join.me, logmein.com, webex, etc.)
  • File sharing platforms (i.e., Dropbox, intranet, etc.)
  • Office Printers
