L.E.A.D. Center For Youth (Launch, Expose, Advise, Direct) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves 6th-12th grade at-risk boys in Atlanta Public Schools. Our mission is to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform their city of Atlanta by using the sport of baseball to teach Black boys how to overcome crime, poverty and racism. Our vision is that our Ambassadors will lead Atlanta to lead the world. Through the sport of baseball, we take our young men on a leadership journey via our year round Pathway2Empowerment programming that includes activities along our four pillars of focus: academics, athletics, civici engagement and commerce. To date, 100% of our Ambassador Program graduates have graduated from high school, 91% have enrolled into college and received college scholarship opportunities, and about 14% enter the workforce or military.
