Young People in Recovery
About Young People in Recovery
Since its founding in 2010, Young People in Recovery (“YPR”)’s mission has been to provide the training and networks that all individuals, families, and communities need to recover and maximize their full potential. Young People in Recovery (YPR) is a national, peer-led organization that serves youth and young adults in recovery from substance use disorder. YPR aims to improve access to resources such as housing, education and employment that sustain long-term recovery. Our work is done by paid staff and volunteers.. We embrace all pathways to recovery including medication-assisted, harm reduction, 12-step abstinence-based, faith-based, and individuals who do not subscribe to any specific treatment philosophy or program.
