The Oasis Sanctuary is a life-care facility for captive exotic Psittacines (parrots).  As a sanctuary, we do not sell, breed or offer birds for adoption. Only two to three generations from the wild, with all their wild instincts intact, parrots suffer physically and emotionally from a life in captivity. Often their behavior is much to difficult for pet owners to manage in a home environment and a repetitive cycle of rehoming begins. Our mission is to offer these birds a stable and loving home for the duration of their natural lives. Our Caregiving team is the heart and soul of our operation, fulfilling our mission daily. Every parrot in our care is cherished, and respected as the intelligent sentient beings that they are.
