Located in Dahlonega, Georgia, at the southern edge of the Appalachian mountains, Georgia ForestWatch (www.gafw.org ) is the leading non-profit environmental organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and restoring the 867,000-acre Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests. 

The members of Georgia ForestWatch share as their vision the protection and appreciation of the national forests in Georgia and the watersheds, native plants and wildlife they encompass. Our mission is to preserve and protect our national forests. Georgia ForestWatch envisions a future where people enjoy forests that have reached their majesty and where intact natural processes support healthy ecosystems and thriving biodiversity for all. 

We are currently looking for an Outreach Coordinator  to lead our public outreach, outings, and volunteer programs and to guide and educate our members and the community.  The ideal candidate will have a zealous enthusiasm for reaching out to community members and other stakeholders.
