Ellis Center is a non-profit Organization serving children with complex communication needs & multiple disabilities.  Our mission is to nurture life-long learners and connect them to their community, focusing on what IS possible.  

Ellis Center includes a private school/educational program that includes full-time, part-time and summer school educational services.  Our goal is to provide an instructional program individualized for each student (ages 5-22 years), as well as one-on-one support - believing unconditionally in each student's potential through a child-lead curriculum.

Our Camp ImpAACt summer program utilizes specifically created curriculum & hands-on S.T.E.A.M. activities allowing campers to grow self-confidence, communicate more effectively, learn from peers and ultimately have fun!

Our Community Education Events include workshops, make-and-take classes as well as private consultations that benefit educators, parents, caregivers, therapists and others in our community.  These events incorporate national-level experts & specialized topics specific to children with multiple & complex disabilities. 

Other programs include our Evaluation services where we assist families & school teams to assess a wide variety of competencies including functional, academic & daily living skills.
