SMART provides low-income students access to an exceptional education and the skills needed to thrive in college and in life. Our organization is helping to break the cycle of poverty in San Francisco through equal access to quality education.

For 19 years, SMART has empowered students and their families to demand more from their educational communities. Working with students in 5th through 12th grades, SMART’s overall goal is to ensure that 100% of our Scholars graduate from high school and apply to and attend four-year colleges equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
