We are seeking a Strategic Advancement Coordinator that will plan and execute various fundraising efforts to increase philanthropic, grant revenue and special events including foundation, corporate and individual giving. They are accountable for significant revenue targets and will help broaden the scope of the Agency’s funding sources and grant opportunities to maximize donations and increase organizational revenue.

 

Your Passion at Work

1. Lead in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic advancement plan and ensure that goals are met.

2. Create and manage a communications plan with donors, partners and volunteers that strengthens donor relationships and sustains viable fundraising channels. This includes development of donor solicitations, donor appeals, and marketing collateral.

3. Research and write grant proposals in partnership with the development of new program services and expansions of existing program services.

4. Explore collaborative and partnership opportunities with community members, public agencies, nonprofit organizations and corporations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in Communications, Marketing and/or Journalism required
  • Minimum of 3 years development and fundraising experience, and/or marketing experience preferred. Communications experience for a community-based organization with a similar mission preferred.
  • The Strategic Advancement Coordinator must have a proven track record of success in fundraising and relationship management.
