Job Position: Project Manager

SUNSHINE ON A RANNEY DAY: Sunshine on a Ranney Day renovates homes for children with long-term illnesses and special needs. We focus on wheelchair accessible bathrooms, in-home therapy rooms, dream bedrooms, and other ADA home modifications within 60 miles of Atlanta.

OVERVIEW
Sunshine on a Ranney Day is seeking a motivated, energetic and driven project manager to oversee all makeovers from design conception to reveal day! A Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing the construction relating to a Sunshine on a Ranney Day makeover. This includes working with the makeover coordinator, subcontractors, designers, vendors, etc. The Project Manager reports directly to the Executive Director. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and direct construction from conception to completion.
• Create and maintain construction schedule.
• Oversee and monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure necessary materials are onsite.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis and hit deadline. 
• Meet subcontractors and inspectors at job.
• Update internal calendar on status of job.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Communicate with assigned makeover coordinator weekly.
• Meet on-site with designer and makeover coordinator prior to start of project.
• Compile call outs, measurements, and materials list to makeover coordinator before project starts.
• Keep a clean job site.

• Ability to multi-task, which requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work well as a team
• Commitment to and passion for the mission of Sunshine on a Ranney Day
• Travel to makeovers, vendor sites, etc
• Ability to use technology and database
• Construction experience required
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must have own tools for light construction work
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement-oriented mindset
• Ensure the quality of the projects
• Visit each job site, schedule crews and execute
• Stay ahead of the game with scheduling, weather and budgets
• Use independent judgment to analyze, troubleshoot and have repairs completed
• Must be able to be hands on
• Must own a vehicle/truck that can transport materials to job sites
• Must live within 60 miles of the Charity Headquarters in Roswell 
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and valid auto insurance coverage
