National Co+op Grocers (NCG) is a member-owned business service cooperative providing a variety of services to retail food co-ops in 37 states. NCG helps unify food co-ops in order to optimize operational and marketing resources, strengthen purchasing power, and offer more value to food co-op shoppers everywhere.
We are seeking an outgoing and energetic individual with a passion for coaching and customer service. This position will administer and support effective use of retail and benchmarking solutions and programs among NCG’s members.
This is an ideal position for curious, and highly-organized individuals interested in having a direct impact on the success of food co-ops and their communities. This position will be based in NCG’s Saint Paul, Minnesota office, and requires up to 20% business travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promoting specific retail programs to co-ops for adoption
- Handling day-to-day administration of programs
- Teaching and coaching new users and providing outstanding customer service
- Communicating updates and changes
- Helping develop user resources and organize training sessions
- Reporting on usage and effectiveness of programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business communications, or business administration preferred; and/or a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience
- Demonstrated experience in systems and process analysis and development
- Experience with training and coaching
- Demonstrated ability to identify needs and recommend solutions that deliver business value
- Outstanding customer service and experience with stakeholder management
- Strong office and computer skills
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial statements preferred
